Over the past several years I have been meeting with, interviewing, and taking portraits of the most wonderful people you might ever meet. These individuals give their time to help others in all kinds of unique ways: fundraising, preparing meals, educating, providing books to read, being a friend… You can see their portraits and read comments made by these great volunteers by clicking on the thumbnails above.

On June 24th I was honoured to display this work at the Volunteer Action Centre AGM and Open House celebrating 30 years serving our community. Bravo! Thank you to Jane Hennig and the team at The Volunteer Action Centre for all their help bringing this to together.

Also, a special thank you to Jack Reynolds who recently retired from The Child Witness Centre. Jack was instrumental through his ongoing encouragement while  introducing me to some incredible people who help  make our community a better place to live. Thanks Jack!
